Skills for Health
Skills for Health is a not-for-profit organisation committed to the development of an improved and sustainable healthcare workforce across the UK. During the Covid-19 lockdown in early 2020, I was contacted by the non-profit to use my 'NHS Heroes' illustration for their 'Our Health Heroes Awards' social media campaign, to celebrate the NHS workers' dedication and sacrifice during the Covid-19 pandemic. The awards programme honours the hard work carried out daily by thousands of healthcare support staff in roles vital to the provision of patient care.
I also produced some colouring sheets for the non-profit to distribute online and through social media to encourage people to stay at home during the lockdown, whilst maintaining the good mental health practice of 'mindful colouring. The colouring sheets were NHS themed, to further promote the non-profit and celebrate the NHS.
